Day 1HA GIANG - QUAN BA - YEN MINH - LUNG CU - DONG VAN (BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER/SHEEP OVERNIGHT)
4:00 AM: Arrive in Ha Giang City, where the tour guide will welcome guests for check-in and personal hygiene in a few hours.
At 6:30 AM, prepare for the journey, and then the group will have breakfast and check in at Km0 in the center of Ha Giang.
At 7:30 AM, the guests will depart for the Dong Van Karst Plateau. Drive on undulating terrain, ranging from 800m to 1,500m in height, through breathtaking mountain landscapes and terraced fields. Stop for photo opportunities and visits:
– Bac Sum Pass, an 8km pass often compared to Pha Din Pass in Dien Bien.
– Heaven’s Gate, the twin mountains of Co Tien Quan Ba, a masterpiece of nature.
– The Lonely Tree – Can Ty, Quan Ba, along the new Quan Ba – Yen Minh route.
Lunch: Guests will enjoy local specialties at a restaurant featuring “hanging black pig, smoked beef, grilled ribs, and local vegetables.” In the afternoon, continue the exploration:
– Tham Ma Slope, an ancient slope used by locals to assess the strength of Pho Cao horses.
– 9-Khoanh Slope, a famous winding slope.
– Sủng Là (Lung Cam Cultural Village), visit the over 100-year-old traditional H’mong house, used as a filming location for the award-winning “Story of Pao” movie.
– Vuong Family Mansion (King of the H’mong) in Sa Phin, a wealthy and influential family in Dong Van in the early 20th century. Learn about the architecture, history, and culture of the Vuong family.
– Lung Cu Flagpole – the northernmost point of the country, symbolizing the strength and sovereignty of the Vietnamese people for generations.
– Northernmost Point, a scenic spot near the China border separated by the Nho Que River.
– Lo Lo Chai Village, the home of the Lo Lo people, one of the minority ethnic groups in Ha Giang.
5:30 PM: Return to Dong Van Town. Check in at Hmong Homestay, have dinner and interact with the residents.
Day 2DONG VAN - NHO QUE RIVER CRUISE - MA PI LENG PASS - MEO VAC - DU GIA (BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER)
Morning: After breakfast at the restaurant, at 8:00 AM, guests check out and continue their journey.
Visit and explore the local market in Dong Van, inhabited by various ethnic minorities such as H’mong, Tay, Dao… (If on a Sunday, there’s an opportunity to visit the bustling weekly market).
Conquer the 20km-long Ma Pi Leng Pass, located on the Happiness Road connecting Dong Van and Meo Vac, renowned as Vietnam’s most majestic mountain pass.
Capture the grandeur of Tu San Alley at an elevation of 1,500m above sea level and an average depth of 800m – the deepest geological cut in Vietnam.
Cruise on the Nho Que River: Sail upstream along the Nho Que River through Tu San Alley. The Nho Que River flows into Vietnam from the Seo Lung village, Lung Cu commune, Dong Van district.
Afternoon: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, continue the journey towards Ban Tien – Du Gia, visiting:
The M-shaped curve is one of the most beautiful routes in the Rocky Plateau.
Ngam La terraced fields with countless layers, a masterpiece created by the local ethnic communities since ancient times.
The historic French Fort in the Duong Thuong valley. From the fort’s peak, you can admire the breathtaking panorama of the valley.
5:30 PM: Check in at the Ban Tien Du Gia Homestay, a cultural village of the Tay people. Have dinner with local specialties and engage in cultural exchanges with the residents.
Day 3DU GIA - DUONG THUONG - LUNG TAM - HA GIANG (BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER)
After breakfast, at 08:00, you will depart for Ha Giang. Along the way, you will visit and take photos at:
1. Du Gia local market with many local specialties.
2. Lung Tam, a traditional linen weaving village of the White H’Mong people. Learn about the culture and the 41 stages of H’Mong linen weaving.
3. Nam Dam Cultural Village of the Dao people, where you will have lunch and explore the life and culture of the Dao people in the area.
4. Ha Thanh Cultural Village, inhabited by the Tay people. Here, you can take a refreshing dip in the cool and clear waterfall flowing through the village (if the weather is warm and time permits).
At 17:30, you will return to the city of Ha Giang with some free time for rest, bathing, and personal hygiene. Dinner will be served at a restaurant, followed by the guide escorting the group back to Hanoi on a sleeper bus. Alternatively, guests can be dropped off at their hotel in Ha Giang (accommodation expenses in Ha Giang are at the guest’s discretion). The tour concludes.
For those taking the sleeper bus, the return to Hanoi is around 4:00 AM, or you can alight at the Kim Anh intersection to head back to Noi Bai International Airport.

CHILDREN’S TOUR PRICES:

  • Age is calculated from birth date to departure date.
  • Children aged 10 and above: charged 100% of the adult price.
  • Children aged 5 to 9: charged 75% of adult price – sharing a bed with parents.
  • Children under 5: free (sharing a bed with parents, additional expenses for sightseeing tickets and meals will be the responsibility of the parents). The company only collects the airline ticket portion (if applicable) as per airline regulations.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

A- COMMON DEPOSIT AND CANCELLATION POLICIES
1/ Deposit Policy
  • To officially secure a spot, customers need to make a deposit equivalent to 40% of the tour price.
  • The remaining amount must be paid to Meditours 15 days before the scheduled departure date.
2/ Customer Cancellation Policy
  • If a customer cancels the tour more than 15 days before the departure date, they will be penalized with an early cancellation fee equivalent to the deposit (40% of the tour price).
  • If a customer cancels the tour within 7 days of the departure date, they will be penalized with a late cancellation fee equivalent to the entire tour price (100% of the tour price).
3/ Organizational Cancellation Policy
  • The tour will proceed as scheduled if there are at least 06 adult participants.
  • If the group has fewer than 06 participants, Meditours will arrange a new departure date and inform customers 15 working days before the scheduled departure date. If customers do not agree with the new date, they will receive a refund of the deposit.
  • If Meditours cannot organize the tour at the planned time due to force majeure reasons such as natural disasters, floods, war, etc., a new departure date will be arranged, and any additional costs will be negotiated between both parties.
