Please note that the following terms and conditions are included https://meditourshagiangloop.com/terms-and-conditions/in all forms of our service reservations. Kindly review the following content carefully before participating in any travel activities with Meditours Ha Giang. 

Deposit and Payment 

1. Your reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of the deposit. To secure your booking, we require a deposit of approximately 40% of the total tour cost. There are various payment methods available for the deposit, but the most common and convenient one is bank transfer, for which we will provide you with the details once you agree to make the reservation.
2. The remaining amount shall be settled with Meditours at least 15 days prior to the scheduled departure date.

Cancellation and refunds 

3. Meditours does not offer refunds under any circumstances for adverse weather conditions or personal reasons of the customer. Tours may be postponed due to unfavorable weather conditions, but we do not take responsibility in the event of tour cancellation.
4. Meditours Ha Giang declines all legal responsibility for any flight delays or itinerary changes during the tour. We do not consider refunds in any case.
5. Please notify us in writing as soon as you intend to cancel the tour. You may incur additional cancellation fees from the final payment date up to 15 days before departure (this fee will be specified in the invoice).
6. If a customer cancels the tour within 7 days before departure, they will be penalized with a late cancellation fee equivalent to the entire tour value (100% of the tour value).
7. Outside of this timeframe, your tour package will be refunded, so we advise you to invest in travel insurance to cover cancellation due to illness, natural disasters, or any other personal issues. Depending on the circumstances, we will reschedule the tour for you at the most convenient time.
8. For organizing units, the tour will depart according to the schedule if there are at least 6 adults. If the group consists of fewer than 6 people, Meditours will arrange a new departure date and inform customers at least 15 working days before the original departure date. If customers do not agree to the new departure date, they will receive a refund of the deposit.

Our Responsibilities

9. While we strive to ensure your motorbike adventure runs smoothly, unforeseen circumstances like breakdowns, accidents, or theft can occasionally arise. In such cases, we may need to provide you with an alternative vehicle, even after the tour has begun. Rest assured, if this happens, you’ll receive a refund for the difference in price between the originally confirmed motorbike and the alternative.
10. We will provide you with everything included in the tour price. Our guides will assist you in every situation along the way. In case of emergencies, we will contact the person you designate in the liability waiver.

Customers responsibilities 

11. To ensure a smooth and safe motorcycle tour in Vietnam, all riders are required to obtain personal travel insurance that covers motorcycle riding. Meditours will need copies of your insurance documents for their records. By having comprehensive coverage, you’ll be responsible for meeting insurance requirements for foreign riders in Vietnam.
12. Meditours Ha Giang cannot be held responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to your belongings during the tour. This includes items broken during transportation on our vehicles/bicycles or lost while in transit.
13. We absolve all legal responsibilities in the event of an accident. This means that both Meditours Ha Giang and its representatives are not necessarily obligated to ensure the safety of all participants. Therefore, we are not obliged to enforce legal responsibility in all cases.
14. Meditours Ha Giang offers basic third-party liability insurance with a maximum coverage of $5,000. This covers injuries or property damage to others in an accident you cause. However, it’s important to understand what’s not included. You are responsible for the first $2,000 of any damage the tour company deems your fault. This damage does not include wear and tear that may be acceptable, such as minor scratches or paint chips caused by insects, gravel, or stones. However, the insurance will not cover scratches, serious damage caused by motorcycle spills, or accidents. Customers can opt for our Excess Reduction Policy (ERP) to reduce this insurance fee. For a daily fee of $30 during your trip, the ERP lowers your deductible from $2,000 to $200.

You can purchase ERP coverage during booking or before the tour begins. It’s not available for purchase after the tour commences. Please note that ERP is already included in the tour itineraries listed on our website. 

• All riders must be at least 22 years old with a valid motorcycle license. 
• A minimum of two years riding experience is required on motorcycles of similar or larger engine capacity to those provided by Meditours Ha Giang.
• We expect all riders to follow local traffic laws and adhere to the tour leader’s safety instructions. Violation of these rules may result in termination of your service agreement and suspension of riding privileges for the remaining tour. 
• Operating a motorcycle under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited. Consuming alcohol is only permitted after reaching designated overnight rest stops. Dangerous behavior due to intoxication will result in disciplinary action.
