PERSONAL ITEMS TO PREPARE FOR THE TREKKING TOUR:
⦁ Specialized backpack for personal belongings for 3 days.
⦁ Clothing:
– 3 short or long-sleeved breathable and moisture-wicking sports shirts.
– 1 thermal shirt, woolen shirt for the evening.
– 1 warm jacket for overnight on the mountain (preferably lightweight like a down jacket).
– 1 waterproof windbreaker or thin windproof jacket for trekking.
⦁ Pants: 3 breathable and stretchy sports pants (preferably thin, lightweight, quick-drying, and water-resistant).
⦁ Footwear: Trekking shoes or sports shoes with good grip, comfortable, anti-slip, preferably waterproof.
(Note: Usually choose shoes about 1 size larger. Cut toenails short to avoid rubbing when wearing shoes throughout the journey.)
⦁ Sandals: 1 pair of leather or rubber sandals for crossing streams and use on flat terrain.
⦁ Socks: 3 pairs of long, thick, high-ankle socks to avoid insects and terrain abrasion.
⦁ Towels:
– 1-2 versatile towels to cover the face, and absorb sweat.
– 1 wool scarf for the evening on the mountain.
⦁ Heat patches: 5-6 patches for use in the evening on the mountain.
⦁ Power bank.
⦁ Personal documents: ID card/driver’s license/passport.
⦁ Flashlight: Use in the dark and personal hygiene (preferably a headlamp).
⦁ Personal items: Sunscreen, sunglasses, personal medication.
⦁ Energy supplements: Chocolate, energy bars, various nuts, dried fruits…
TOUR PRICE FOR CHILDREN
- The age will be calculated from the birthdate to the departure date.
- Children from 10 years old: 100% of the adult price.
- Children from 5 to 9 years old: 75% of the adult price – sharing the bed with parents.
- Children under 5 years old: Free (sharing the bed with parents, any additional expenses such as sightseeing tickets, parents will take care of the child). The company only charges for the airfare (if any) according to the regulations of airlines.
CANCELLATION POLICIES
A- COMMON DEPOSIT AND CANCELLATION POLICIES
1/ Deposit policy to hold a spot
- To officially secure a spot, customers need to make a deposit equivalent to 40% of the tour price.
- The remaining amount must be paid to Meditours 15 days before the customer’s reserved departure date.
2/ Customer cancellation policy
- If customers cancel the tour more than 15 days before the departure date, they will be fined an early cancellation fee equivalent to the deposit (40% of the tour price).
- If customers cancel the tour within 7 days of the departure date, they will be fined a late cancellation fee equivalent to the entire tour price (100% of the tour price).
3/ Organizer’s cancellation policy
- The group will depart according to the schedule if there are at least 6 adults in the group.
- If the group does not have 6 members, Meditours will arrange a new departure date and inform customers 15 working days before the original departure date. If customers do not agree with the new departure date, they will receive a refund of the deposit.
- If Meditours cannot organize the group at the scheduled time due to force majeure such as natural disasters, floods, war, etc., Meditours will arrange a new departure date, and any additional costs will be mutually agreed upon.
