Day 1HA NOI - NAM HONG VILLAGE - HO THAU (LUNCH, DINNER)
Morning:
05:00 AM: Meditour Ha Giang’s vehicle and tour guide (HDV) will pick up guests to start the journey to Hoang Su Phi, Ha Giang. The group will make a stop at a restaurant for lunch.
Afternoon: After lunch, the vehicle and guide will take the group to visit Nậm Hồng village (Thong Nguyen) – located approximately 40 km from the center of Hoang Su Phi, in Nam Hong Vallage, Thông Nguyên town, with 37 households of the Dao ethnic group residing there. This place features the most beautiful terraced fields in the Northwest, stretching along the hillside, and is recognized as a national-level scenic spot. In addition to the stunning terraced fields, there is the ancient tea area of Phin Ho Shan Tuyết and the unique cultural features of the Dao ethnic group.
Following that, the vehicle will take guests to Ho Thau commune to check into homestay accommodations for some rest.
Night: Dinner will be served at a local homestay with the indigenous people. Gather around the warmth of the tea, share the heartwarming stories of the highland ethnic communities, or experience bathing like the Dao people, which is characteristic of this region.
Day 2CHIEU LAU THI - COC PAI TOWN - BAC HA (BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER)
Morning: Guests wake up early and have breakfast right at the homestay.
07:00 AM: The group heads to Ho Thau to conquer and hunt for cloud seas at the summit of Chieu Lau Thi. Cloud hunting and admiring the famous mountain scenery here will be an unforgettable experience for travel enthusiasts. The picturesque view of mountains embracing clouds clouds sinking into the mountains, or cloud cascades can be enjoyed, and guests can check in at the 2402m milestone of Chieu Lau Thi summit.
10:00 AM: The group ascends the mountain, and the vehicle and guide will take guests back to Coc Pai town for lunch at a restaurant.
Afternoon: After lunch, the group continues the journey back to Bac Ha. Along the way, guests will stop to visit and take photos at Coc Pai Heaven Gate, where they can admire the panoramic view of Coc Pai City (Xin Man District) nestled between the valley and surrounded by lush green mountains.
5:00 PM: Arrival in Bac Ha, guests check into their accommodations to rest.
07:00 PM: Guests have dinner with Bac Ha cuisine, and after dinner, the group is free to explore Bac Ha town on their own.
Day 3BAC HA MARKET - HOANG A TUONG MANSION
06:00: Wake up early to enjoy the fresh air, have breakfast, check out, and then the tour guide will lead the group to explore:
Bac Ha Market is the largest ethnic minority market in the Northwest. Guests will have the opportunity to see unique and simple dishes, as well as wines made from grains and various fruits such as plums, apples, and peaches.
Engage and learn about the cultural and spiritual life of indigenous communities such as H’Mong, Dao, Tay, Nung… Visit the village and homeland of King H’Mong – Dinh Hoang A Tuong, built by the French and Chinese in 1920. It is truly a historical and cultural landmark, a valuable and priceless material cultural heritage – perhaps the only one in Bac Ha.
At noon, 11:30: Check out, have lunch, and savor local cuisine.

  • A surcharge of 250,000 VND/person for foreign nationals (procedure fee in Hà Giang as regulated)
  • Single room surcharge: 400,000 VND/person (applies to those booking hotel stays and traveling alone without sharing a room) or upon customer’s request for a private room
  • Drinks during meals, at the hotel, and other personal expenses
  • Boat fee on the Nho Quế River (package at 300,000 VND/person including round-trip motorbike taxi and boat)
  • Other services and expenses not mentioned in the program

 

Tips for drivers and tour guides:

  • Not mandatory, but typically 150,000 VND/per person for Vietnamese tourists
  • Tip guideline for foreign guests: minimum $5/day x 3 days = $15

CUSTOMER NOTES:

  • Customers must bring valid personal documents (ID card or Passport)
  • It is advisable to bring insect repellent, common cold medicine, or any prescribed medication from a doctor
  • Vegetarian customers should bring their vegetarian food to ensure their dietary preferences are met
  • Unused services in the tour will not be refunded
  • The tour guide has the right to rearrange the order of sightseeing points to suit daily conditions but will ensure all programmed attractions are covered
  • If there are fewer than 6 guests on the departure day, the driver may also serve as the guide. These drivers are experienced and familiar with the route and local culture.
  • As it is a mountainous tour, small luggage is recommended. Customers are advised to bring backpacks instead of bulky suitcases.
  • There are options to stay at homestays for a more immersive experience. Customers should bring personal items deemed necessary for homestay accommodation.
  • Upon tour completion, customers will be dropped off at a single location, specifically the Hanoi Opera House. Customers are responsible for their taxi fare back to their hotel or residence.

TOUR PRICE FOR CHILDREN

  • The age is calculated from the date of birth to the departure date.
  • Children aged 10 and above: 100% of the adult price.
  • Children aged 5 to 9: 75% of the adult price – sharing a bed with parents.
  • Children under 5: Free of charge (sharing a bed with parents, any additional expenses such as sightseeing tickets and meals will be taken care of by parents). The company only charges for the flight ticket (if applicable) as per the regulations of the airlines.

CANCELLATION CONDITIONS

A- GENERAL DEPOSIT AND CANCELLATION POLICY
1/ Deposit policy to secure a spot
  • To officially secure a spot, customers need to make a deposit equivalent to 40% of the tour price.
  • The remaining amount must be paid to Meditours 15 days before the departure date.
2/ Customer cancellation policy
  • If a customer cancels the tour more than 15 days before the departure date, the customer will incur an early cancellation penalty equivalent to the deposit (40% of the tour price).
  • If a customer cancels the tour within 7 days of the departure date, the customer will incur a late cancellation penalty equivalent to the entire tour price (100% of the tour price).
3/ Organizer cancellation policy
  • The tour will depart as scheduled if there are at least 6 adults.
  • If the group has fewer than 6 guests, Meditours will arrange a new departure date and inform customers at least 15 working days before the departure date. If customers do not agree to the new departure date, they will receive a refund of the deposit.
  • If Meditours cannot organize the tour at the scheduled time due to uncontrollable factors such as natural disasters, floods, wars, etc., Meditours will arrange a new departure date. Any additional costs will be agreed upon by both parties.
